I installed my Berk TP last night on my OEM AP2 exhaust and it's pretty awesome. Slightly deeper sound with regular driving and wicked in VTEC. Butt dyno tells me that the car has a little more kick in VTEC. The power difference (if any) doesn't feel like night and day, but I like it.

My big question...what do your test pipe fumes smell like?

I thought it was going to smell a little like gas. I've heard rotten eggs, too. On my car after 50 miles, it smells like a mix of burning rubber and hot metal. Hard to describe, but very strange and annoying. With my garage door open, I can smell it within 2 seconds of starting my car.

I had to use tons of PB Blaster spray and I hope the smell is just that stuff burning off. I didn't do an ECU reset if that matters.

Does a TP really smell this bad all the time?

Yup, stinky. I always thought it smelled a little sweet, but def stinky. And it does NOT go away. Drive faster.

I have the berk testpipe as well. It does have a nasty smell. You can say something like burning rubber...or was that just my tires??

Some peoples S stink/smoke more than others with a testpipe. Mine doesnt smoke but it definitely stinks. Some people get a really nasty rotten egg smell. Mine stinks like gas, not too bad actually. I like the smell of gas.
It was smellier with a single exhaust, now that Im running a dual the smell is less profound.

it depends on the brand of gas too. some smell more than others.

it's like people eat the wrong stuff and fart different smells. love it.
