I just bought a replacement o2 sensor from amazon. Denso 234-4601. The connector does not fit..... have you had an issue with this? Do i have the wrong part? This is for the sensor on the cat?

agreed, it's the right p/n for secondary o2 for 00-03. Secondary o2 is female and primary is male (talking plug on sensor side). so if you look in the connector and it's male, then you they may have sent you the wrong one by accident.

confirm with the images on denso's site, look up o2 sensor for your s2000: http://densoautoparts.com/find-my-part.aspx

OP Did you end up figuring this out? I had the same issue and ended up having to splice my old connector.

How did you splice it? Crimp connectors? Or did you de-pin/re-pin?

I guess its just a secondary O2...so its not a huge deal.

6 years ago when I last did mine, I just solder-joint spliced the existing connector onto an old Civic O2 sensor that I had in the garage to see if it would get me through until I bought a new one. I never did buy a new one.

Soldering O2 wires is tricky! That's cool that yours are holding up.

I bought both Denso sensors as a kit from eBay and it connected fine. 01 AUDM S2000
