Was in the market for some new plugs and was leaning towards the denso iridium. My car is na but I've heard that these plugs tend to cause some engine failures due to the tip breaking off or scoring the cylinder from prior post. I also saw that this seemed to have happened to FI cars. Has anyone had any issues with these plugs. How many miles have you run these plugs if you have them installed.

You can get NGK with iridium center electrode instead. The electrode is laser welded on. The ground electrode is platinum as well.

Yea ive heard of the ngk ones as well. So do the ngk's better than the denso plugs in realibility..

If there is any sort of possible issue with any of these plugs, I would just stick with the oem platnium but wanted to make sure since I've used the iridium plugs in prior vehicles and haven't had any issues. NOt sure if its an s2k issue..

I've had my denso's for over 3 years without any issues.
