The Berk does come with a certificate which (legally ) should be filled out by a qualified mech and filed with DOT? OSHA?. My point is that there does seem to be a legal way to run the Berk i'm just not sure of the way to actually do this.

FYI, you can buy a heatshield from Jegs or Summit that will help with the visual.

Not sure why Cali is such a pain in the ass.
Here in Ontario, if your emissions are between a certain value for your car, you pass. If your spewing out crap from your tailpipes you need to get it fixed first.
As long as your car is driving clean, who cares if it has an aftermarket cat.
