Debris inside of muffler

yup. this seller sold you a dud. you could chop off the muffler and weld on a magnaflow.

I did get a dud, right now I am trying to sell it cheap and recoupe something, but I actually have considered doing my own custom. I would need a resonator as well. Anything better than Magnaflow if I am going to go to the trouble?

if you spend more money than what a magnaflow would cost you, you might as well shop for another exhaust.

Sorry that you got a dud. I actually experienced the same thing with my Greddy SE Dual v2. Only had it for 10k miles over the course of couple years (I have short commutes even if I take the long way home). It's most likely the welds broke and baffle came loose. I did call around and most muffler shops aren't willing to take on the job. They feel it the weld will probably break again, the muffler will look extremely ugly after getting cut open, and the cost ain't worth it. However, let me know what you find. It's sad to see such a "pristine" exhaust go to waste

I think you need to be able to DIY it, then it is worth it.
