don't do it, 85% profit for the dealer performing the service, just padding the pockets and their bottom line

A 2006 is definitely not due for any kind of flushing, no matter what the fluid

......what it does is clean out all of the caked on carbon off the piston heads and off of the valves/combustion faces.

do you know where carbon comes from bud? its more for older cars but not reccomended due to the carbon actually helping the motor seal up.

and yes i read what i wrote, you didnt.

no ****ing shit there shouldnt be carbon on the faces of the pistons/combustion chamber but thats what that process removes. go learn about combustion in general and cars. then come back. otherwise go home

I would not recommend introducing any solvent to your crank case unless you have signs of sludge buildup. The residual solvents will break down the new fresh oil that you put in after the flush. If you don't believe me, try pouring a small amount of fresh engine oil on your driveway and then pour some paint thinner on top of it.
If you want a safer way to clean sludge build up (which I'm certain you do not have), look into a product called Auto Rx. It is very popular and highly recommended over on BITOG.
