i am very easy on the brakes and it only starts to squeal when it has heated up. when cold there is no noise. And the fool at the dealer said he can take any one of the hondas on his lot and make them squeal

As someone stated before, that is your problem. You don't apply enough pressure, which actually causes higher brake tempatures than stopping from the same speed with more pedal pressure. Exposing the pads to this type of condition "glazes" (hardening the pad surface) them, which will lead to brake noise along with reduced braking performace.

My car does not squeak at all.

Usual causes:
1) Contaminated pads and/or rotors
2) Warped rotor disc (check lug nut tension)
3) Loose caliper screws
4) Improperly lubed caliper screws/retainers
5) Bad bearings
6) Wrong pads (like aftermarket pads)
7) Missing or improperly installed shims

Ah, that finally got the brain in gear. Emril, I think I know what that "spray" is you were thinking of. Street cars have small plates called shims installed between the brake calipers and the brake pads. There is usually a small amount of high temperature anti-seize grease applied between the shims and the pads. This grease does help prevent squeal.

If you want to keep pressing this with the dealer, tell them to inspect the installation of the brake pads and make sure the pads and shims are properly installed and that the moly-grease has been properly applied.

That being said, I think the advice to use the brakes harder from time to time is actually the most likely correct solution. These brakes don't really want to be babied. They want to be "abused", relative to normal street driving. I've seen 04 brakes survive several days of high speed track use, so there is very little you can do to really over-use them on the street, short of driving everywhere with the brakes dragging.

same thing happened with the g35 and evo crowd, complaining about squealing, both had brembos. i don't think u.s. is ready for performance, prolly why we get watered down everything.
didn't they get rid of the brembos on the g35?

The top model G35 has brembos.

My 04 brakes only make noise at super low speeds in reverse.

I have a set of 03 pads that i will be installing sometime in the near future as well.
