Dead battery?

IVE DONE THIS BEFORE!
The terminals for my civic OEM battery were close to the front end. My teg battery I was putting in had the terminals near the firewall. The cables couldnt reach so QUICKLY I THOUGHT 'i know ill just rotate the battery 180 degrees and it will work.
Well I did that, the wires fit and BOOM, blown fuse. forgot the while rotating i swaped the terminal sides.
$5 and 1 fuse later i was good to go!
