That DIY won't help.. his problem is a bulb in the cluster went out. You need to remove the entire cluster to open it up and replace the bulb. Not as straight forward.
You can find a DIY for cluster removal on s2ki. Then follow this for bulb replacement http://www.qube-engineering.com/Documents/Qube'sLEDGaugeClusterDIYSupplementalInstructionsAP 1_v1.1.pdf

Interior lights is probably an easy fix. You have to remove the upper panal and side panels (really easy), and just clean the contact points. Most likely they are just corroided. Same thing happened to me.
With the dash lights you can remove the cluster and just send it in for a custom setup if you are unhappy with it's appearence.

i got an estimate of $300 to replace the dash lights. i may do it. it bugs me that one light is messing with me. but i'm not f'ing with the steering or the airbag or staring at a thumb-print on the dashboard forever if i do it! now wondering if i should change it to blue led's or keep it oem. hmmmm.....

OP, it really isnt that bad to swap out the cluster lights. You only need to goto about step 6 of the 2nd DIY to change the bulbs. Took me about 2 hours IIRC, being careful just cause there's so much disassembling involved. Same light went on mine. I dunno where Windermere is but if you bring it up to gainesville i'll do it for a helluva lot less than $300

very strange that now, almost two years later, the light came back on. and has been staying on. weird. suddenly one day i could see the gas gauge and didn't think anything of it, until i went, isn't that supposed to be out? i have no clue as to why!
