from what I've read, ap2 gears 1-4 are shoter than ap1 gears.

okay this thread scares the crap out of me!

so basicly how did he screw that gear up so bad bad? by driving it too hard with hard shifts? or not sifting properly? like leting on the throttle a second before letting go of the clutch?

i just dont want to end up in the same boat so any and all advice would help

also if ur looking for N/A speed i'd try to get my hands on an AP2 tranny with the shorter gears and a 4.57FD i think 4.77 is over kill if ur gonna do highway driving. nothing like going 70 in vtec in ur final gear lol=)

so does the ap2 tranny much stronger? cuz i mean i have a rsx and the 6speed tranny with shorter gears didnt nesacarily make it stronger.. i would like to know cuz i want to boost a s2k in the near future

The AP2 had different ratios but not really any stronger than the AP1 trans
