clutch/throttle timing plays a major role in this scenario. Let out on the throttle just enough just before disengaging the clutch, disengage clutch, shift up, let the clutch back out and slam back on the throttle as hard as you can = slamming parts together at full force, also known as banging gears.

I'm really wanting a tranny that's going to stand the abuse of banging gears with a 4 puck clutch...
What PP do you use?
my intent is to stay NA, but who knows
Almost like boost and a little less stress on the drivetrain upwards from the diff.

I've seen it before on cars with 2x stock power. It your case the failure is from the additional shock loads caused by your driving style and aggressive clutch.
I have a competition clutch 4 puck spring loaded w/ their PP & ultra lightened flywheel.
I also refer to "banging gears" as shifting as fast as possible, its just something my friends and I have always said.
What suggestions do you guys have as far as fixing it? I'm probably going to do the final drive at the same time since thr diff is just right there. 4.77's here I come.
right now i'm thinking AP2 tranny sent to kings motorsports for their strengthening, but my mind changes every couple hours.
*edited cause I can't spell.

You'll need a 1-2 gear and synchro set, and a mainshaft. Not to mention cleaning out all of the debris from the damaged gears. You may also have damaged synchros on other gears. It would be more cost effective to find a complete used trans.

Btw Daniel, the final drive is in the diff. aka ring gear
I know, since the driveshaft isn't connected, its in plain sight.
I'm very much so considering a used ap2 tranny....has anyone done this? also how would you know that a used tranny is in good working order....I don't want to buy one and find it has problems...hence the reason I keep leaning towards a rebuild
