I have a Vortechs/c and it developed what sounds like a bearing
going on it after only a month.I called vortech and I was told they are normally a bit noisy that way.If it works then it's okay unless it's grinding.Then it is in need of repair.I have another 1000miles of hard driving since then and nothing changed .It works great.Still a bit noisy...could be a bearing on one of your pulley's however ...it's hard to isolate the sound I bet.If it's a pulley,maybe it should be replaced
