Reid, I took my car to Jordan earlier this year for a head replacement. A 2 hour drive for you would be nothing. Get it fixed before the dragon.

Hopefully that will be the plan.

Did the leak down test this AM. Warmed the car up fully and followed the Rob Robinette methodology using an OTC 5609 leakage tester. Cylinders 1,3,&4 came back really good, all 4 & 5% leak at 100 psi. Going through the cylinder order #2 was last, and came back bad 70%. There was low loud audible leakage from both exhaust pipe which would make sense from the exhaust valves. There was no perceived leakage from the oil dipstick tube and no bubbles in the radiator, but with so much leakage from the exhaust valve it may be masking those problems.

Yikes. Reached out to Jordan for advice, thanks for everyone's feedback.

Thanks,
Reid

Next thing id do is pull the header off to look into the exhaust ports to see if there is any readily apparent damage to the valves on that cylinder. At that severe amount of leakage you very well may be able to get a visual confirmation that the valve is cooked based on the injector issue. Fair chance that’s the issue or the seat, and your going to be pulling the head regardless. You may have dodged a bullet on the piston rings, but you may want to get a camera down that cylinder to inspect for any scoring/piston damage also.
