Default Cylinder head repair

I purchased a used head that had been the victim of a misshift. I was told the only damage was the broken valve & valve guide that had made contact with the piston. However, when I got home and did a closer inspection, I found some additional damage, and I'm wondering if this is something that can be repaired.

The roof of the combustion chamber has several nicks in it. I'd guesstimate that they're about 1/16" deep. They look like where a chunk of valve hit them, but oddly they aren't in the same cylinder as the demolished valve.

Is it possible to repair the combustion chamber? I would think it would affect combustion and possibly cause hot spots if I just try to grind down & polish the areas that are damaged. What about welding in some material and then grinding that down? Can that be done accurately enough to not affect performance?

Also, when I look into the intake ports (with the head off the car, obviously) I can see daylight around several of the intake valves. Does that indicate bent valves or maybe just carbon buildup or something that might be keeping them from seating properly?

the machine shops can fix that no problem. might cost you a bit but have them give you a quote first maybe you can find a working head for the same price
