They did compression test and leak down. I asked if they heard a leak on intake or exhaust side, but they acted like I was crazy to ask. I already had the car back and told them I wasn't going to have them do the work, so I doubt they felt like being helpful. I just have the ticket with mechanics notes.

Took some macro pics of the head gasket below. It appears to my simple mind to be looking a little rough between the cylinders, especially 2-3. I tried to label as best as possible, lower numbered cylinder in on the right. I did both sides of the gasket. When I put this thing back together, what all gaskets should I replace... head, intake, any others?

Do head studs need to be replaced when rebuilding? One of my friends said something about them not really being ment to get reused.
People have re-used them, but if you love your car, why bother...
