Is it possible if you can get me a picture with the CF lid off, a picture where its near the radiator/fan shroud, I want to see if it will fit a koyo radiator, since the koyo is thicker and will push the fan shroud back a little bit.

There is a circular opening in the fender; look under the hood prop bracket in the first picture.

Sorry it was a busy weekend but here are the requested pics. I am really enjoying the intake. The throttle response is a little better and there is a definate growl that can be heard as well as felt.

Here is a pic of the lid modification. The notch is about 1 inch long by 1/4 inches tall. It was quick work with a dremel and pulled the lid away from the radiator stay.

There is only about a 1/4 inch gap between the fan shroud and the intake box.

Were there any other modifications you did? I've modified the lid, put foam tape between the lid and the box, reinstalled twice and still getting a rattle sound. I've been working on this for the last 2 weeks and i'm beginging to feel that the filter is hitting the lid which is making teh sound, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does the stock hood support need to be modified for this to fit. The auto-x class I run in won't allow me to modify the hood prop.

i intially shaved the sides of teh hood prop end to tryp to make it fit but i found it still rubbed the lid and ended up removing it completely,
