Default C's Roots Blower for the S2000

Believe it or not (some of you may choose not, don't bother flaming), C's has produced a supercharger system based on the M62 eaton blower.

I don't read Japanese, this was forwarded by a friend.

Any of you guys in Japan wanna check this out and post details?

Cheers,
Ben

Here is that page run through a translator. Doesn't seem to have any real numbers, unfortunately.

According to http://www.cavalleresco.com/english/s2000.html, they rate the kit at 300ps (about 296HP). This includes their boltons like a higher-flowing exhaust. The MSRP according to the C's site seems to be in the $6k range. Of course that might be somewhat lower from cavalleresco.

I can't find anywhere what psi the kit puts out by default, but from the power ratings I'll guess 6psi. The M62 blower is quite a powerhouse though, and in a small displacement engine like the F20C should be able to put 10psi in easy without getting *too* hot.

Cheers,
Ben

Per the LHD comment, that engine bay pic looks like the blower/manifold would smack the brake booster/master cylinder. Don't think it's going to fit on our cars in the States!

NOOO!!! The roots type blower is EXACTLY what i need. I'm looking for a more linear powerband for increased low end since i drive in and out of NYC everyday. I have no need for the monster boost associated with turbos or even centrifugal SC's. Anyone know of any planned roots type blower for us left-handers in the states? Please let me know......

Once a working kit is produced, I wonder how much R&D it would be to shift it around? I would think the manifold would have to be recast in this case.. but maybe not. One of our Japanese-speaking friends should get in touch with C's and see what's up.

Cheers,
Ben
