Default Cruse Control Bucking

Cruse control "bucks" while it is engaged on highway. It also does not keep a constant speed well. I tightened the throttle cable helped somewhat but there is still a slight buck. when it notices it needs a slight power increase it just puts way to much throttle and then notices it has speed up to much then it cuts off the gas then it gets back on hard to get back to speed. It is pretty much constant like that.
Maybe a "map Whack" would help but i rather possibly destroy my map sensor.

There is a throttle cable that runs to the cruise control module. It may be loose or there may be an issue with the control module itself.

There are some pics of the control module in my DIY throttle replacement thread:

Do you get any bucking when you don't use the CC?

Maybe a map whack deal?

It happens.

Is the bucking a rapid bucking motion or a slower, delayed pause?

It is a like a slow delayed pause kinda thing. Its like if you try and keep a speed at 70 but your dumb and you just push to much gas then realize it then let off to much then over correct yourself....its like my cruse control is dumb lol. I dont really use it that much but I would like to go to meets and sometimes they are far and CC is very useful then.
