Default Cruise Control Removal

So I have the moddiction catch can/coolant combo piece ready to install. It requires moving the cruise control module to mount. Can I just unplug and delete the cc module? It is primarily a track car so I really don't need cc.I was hoping to just unplug and tape up the connector seem reasonable?

Yes you can just plain remove it all together. Its also fairly easy to re-locate. But if you dont need it and its a race car im sure its worth a few ounces in weight savings. Ab-Speed cans FTW!

Thanks
I can only hope to someday have a "race car" but it is a great track toy!

You can swap the cable from the CC with the throttle cable. Its shorter, and it makes for a neater engine bay... Its all in the detail, right?
