Cruise Control Removal

The Cruise is an add on and not part of the ECU. Removal shouldn't cause any problems. There is the actuator and cable, the control switch, and I believe a control box under the dash.
The reason I know all this is that Aus Ss (and infact most other markets) don't have cruise but I added it to mine. I went with a very similar unit made by Rostra.
The steering wheel control on mine is an RF transmitter so there is no wiring to the control box. I believe this is not the case with the US OEM. I had to notch the shroud a bit to fit the button pack and still use the horn. Not sure what AHM have done to it but it shouldn't be noticable.
