Those cad plated rotors are nice as long as you don't push it. These beautiful cad plated rotors went bad in less than one day at Laguna Seca.

Same rotor the next day.

The Cadmimum melted off all over the wheels.

It also melted on the caliper brackets.

Cross-drilled and slotted rotores are mainly for cooling the brakes I believe? But the durability is lost over the stock rotors.

But hell yeah, they do look pretty sweet!
they are lighter and dissipate heat better. they will help with brake fad, but not stopping power.

if you are driving to the point where you NEED cross drilled rotors for the street....you should probably re-evaluate how you are driving.

but they do look money!

I run with Front and Rear Spoon CrossDrilled Rotors, complete with Spoon Pads and Spoon braided line.

The look is fine, performance wise, I cant say they improve better braking, they are noisier, and they might have a cooling effeciency better than OEM.

I never did any track days with them yet..

Cheers

I run with Front and Rear Spoon CrossDrilled Rotors,
The later Spoon rotors (IIRC) are cross-cast.
The holes are made when the rotor was cast, and then drilled through to have a better finish.
It is supposed to reduce stress in the metal.
I've seen posts that every cross drilled/cast rotor eventually cracks on the track.
Not on the street IMO (at least I hope not )
