Default Creaking noises at low speed while turning

So it's been doing this for a while and I just noticed lately it seems to be worse. Anytime I'm pulling into a parking space while turning into it, my car creaks a few times and also when I go over bumps. This only seems to happen when I'm going slow enough that I have to depress the clutch and coast.

I just want to make sure my car isn't about to fall apart while I'm driving so is it okay for now or should I get it checked asap?

Sounds like wheel bearings. It's a fun DIY, which involves removing the knuckle from the axle and the 3 control arm ball joints, then using a hydraulic press to remove the hub and bearing and press in new ones, and a new axle nut tq'ed to about 350 lbs. There are plenty of guides online. You can drive the car as is for now, try to avoid taking sharp turns at speed. When you save up enough for some new bearings and a hub swap them out. OEM is pretty pricey at around $230 shipped per side. There are alternatives that fit properly and should work, but I don't know for how long, however they are about $100 less per side for some decent parts. You can also replace the entire knuckle assembly by getting a used one of flea bay or the classified forums.

Are you being sarcastic when you say it's a fun DIY? I don't have much experience working on cars. How difficult would this be for me?

Oh and I didn't mention that it's not causing the car to feel different, only a noise.

Mostly, it would help if you posted a video of the noise. It's kind of hard to diagnose through text. If we heard the exact sound we could 8/10 tell you what it is. It could be that you just need new brake pads.

Try searching "rear axle nut". The AP1 nuts came undertorqued and axle noise results. If you catch it early you may not have to change the bearing. Look for a thread by Billman 250.

I recently started have the same issues with creaking. It's not the axle nut clicking, this sounds more like a dry bushing creaking over uneven surfaces.

Try this first. Take some WD40 and lubricate all of your bushings. This isn't a permanent fix by any means, but if the creaking subsides while driving afterwards then you know what your problem is.

Yep planning on that one bushing at a time when I finally get a chance to...didn't know if it's a fairly common issue?

With age they'll become stiff/noisy, it's pretty common over time.

Also, I'd just go ahead and spray down all the bushings at once and go for a drive to see if it stops. If it ends up being a bad bushing you'll want to replace them all at once anyway.

Didn't have time to spray one at a time. Sprayed them all down and retorqued again and all good. No shake when holding at 12 and 3 though?
