This is strange.
I installed a BBK last week. The pedal was a little mushy after my first bleed, so I tried bleeding again today with more Motul RBF600.
While I was bleeding the front calipers, I noticed that they make a creaking sound every time I pulled the brake pedal back up!
It sounds almost like you're crunching a piece of paper. Or maybe sounds like air and fluid getting sucked through a little hole. This sound only happens when you pull the brake pedal back up and it happens every time. No sound when pushing down on the pedal.
I'm almost certain the sound is coming from the calipers.
Any guesses on what this is? Should I be worried?

NEVER heard of this before. But anyhow, just top it off. As long as it brakes good (And better than OEM since your using a BBK) then I wouldn't worry. Did you also drop in some stainless lines? You better have!
Good luck.
Good luck.

I decided to keep oem lines for now. A few track guys told me that the oem lines are totally fine.
I think what happened was that the bleed bolts on each caliper were tight, but maybe not tight enough. Maybe as I bled one side, the other side was loose and sucked in air.
I'm going to try this again before going to the track in a couple weeks.
