I was driving normally down my block, and whenever i was coming to a stop I heard this weird noise, like it would knock every time I slow'd down. So I decided (im a retard), to rev it up a little and next thing you know the shift knob went crazy and was swinging everywhere, made a really loud knocking noise and just stopped. Now the car starts and everything, but I can put the car into gear without holding the clutch, it doesnt stall and it wont move anywhere. If it helps I looked under the car and I picked up 1 bolt and 1 platic cap peice. Looks like the driveshaft is hanging a bit low now too?

Sounds like the exact opp. of what happened with my integra. When the clutch gave out I couldn't engage it to get into gear without the car being off.

If the shifter moved around crazy, has to be something internally with the trans. Any crunching noises moving the shifter into any gears?

yeah it did make a noise before the shift knob went crazy, but not so much of a crunch.

yeah that bolt looks exactly like the one i have.

That's a tranny mount. Don't know how hard it is to replace, but it's a $30 part.

almost sounds like the car is jammed with the clutch engaged. does the pedal have any feel to it?
