Got an extra bottom-end, and I never knew what was wrong with it. I removed the oil pan, and checked on the crankshaft. It looked like this.
cylinder 2
I was wondering if this can be repaired? Or a replacement is needed?? Stroker time 2.2!!?

here's what my worst one looked like when I rebuilt my motor:
I had the crank polished and checked against that shop manual specs. I have about 3500 miles on the rebuild now with no issues so far. I did have to try several different bearing thicknesses before I got a tolerance that I was happy with, though. I ended up with 'black', which is the thickest bearing honda offers for this motor. Any more material removal, and I wouldn't have been able to get a bearing for it.
You can always take it to a machine shop and have them tell you if it can be salvaged.

Yes, eventually I will send it to a machine shop, to have the scuffs looked at.

This is a picture so I can't be sure, but it looks more like bearing material build up than just straight crank damage.
I would get it in the shop, I imagine it can be repaired.
