Default Crank Pulley is stuck on

My crank pulley is stuck on although the bolt has already been removed. Is there any tool to get this thing out. I cannot get a pulley grabber on there due to the power steering.

Give the center area a shot of Liquid Wrench and whack it gently in a few places with a rubber mallet. It's probably just stuck on from metal to metal adhesion. Mine yanked off the first time by hand.

Mine yanked off easily the first time too. The one from comptech feels like it's glued on. I've soaked it in WD40 with no luck. I'll have to pick up some liquid wrench the day after xmas. Would heating it up with a torch help out?

Maybe, but do it at your own risk. I'd do it in stages. What about gently prying it with a thin bar from behind?

Just broke the pulley wall doing that. Looks like I'll have to order another from comptech. The thin metal on the outter wall is extremely brittal. Do you think they make any pulley grabbers that could fit in the limited space?

I'm sure you could find one that will work.

Do a Google search for "pulley puller" to find more.

I'm a bit worried about why it would be so stuck.

I wonder if when it was installed, some debris got between the shaft and the pulley hole or into the keyway.
