Default Crank bearing codes?

Hey guys. I need the codes for what bearings my crank has. Is it possible to somehow see these codes without removing the crank from the engine? (Ie. alot of work). Has anyone ever had luck with this? See I spun one big end bearing, and want to replace them all, but dont want to replace the mains. I feel pretty safe that no metal made it around the engine as my oil pump internally was in good nick + no metal in filter when i cut it open. Im also confident my journals are in good enough condition, I just need a new bearing in there so I can measure the crush.

The codes are on the crank and connecting rod.

Yeh I know where the codes are on the crank, I was just wondering if theres some way to see them without having the crank out, cause the manual says they are stamped on the side of the couterweight. that runs parallel to the casting of the block. Are you saying you can see the codes with just the sump off? Do the con rod and crank journal share the same code for each cylinder?
Tonight I was going to try to get some blu-tac up there and see if i can get an imprint of the letter for each one.
