"up for sale is my s2000 honda race engine with 14 to 1 CP pistons, sleeved with fully built cly head(350 hours labor on the head) with stainless valves that flows enough to make 400hp on allky or 325 on gas allmotor never ran ( head is off of short block) cost $10,000 to copy comes with brand new valve cover, coils, head bolts, starter, sfi flywheel, and lots of spare parts also. $3500 THIS IS ALL FRESH NEVER RAN This set up is a great light, hi power for two seater long travel sandrail, or drift project, kit car. I had a chevy adapter made for this engine will bolt to a chevy transmission with my plate."

SFI is an acronym for some safety organization's standard. In some classes of drag racing, the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing must be SFI stamped to pass tech inspection.

Since the head is off the block, you should be able to check everything out before purchasing. If it's not bound up or looking like crap, it could be a good deal. I'm curious as to why someone would spend $10K on an engine and never assemble or run it and then sell it for $3500.

I know people on other forums that have gotten hosed making purchases like this. I'd absolutely look at it first before buying.

^^ what he said.. plus the guy plainly states the motor has never been run, so who knows how much power it will make.
