I have never done a radiator replacement before and it took me under 2 hours from start to finish when I replaced mine with a FullBlown one.

When I was 40 years younger, driving a 1962 Dodge Lancer, and earning a fraction of what I earn now, then I would have done the work myself.

When I was 30 years younger, driving a 1972 Chevy Impala, with time to kill, then I would have done the work myself then as well.

Now I lead a far more complex life, and I have more important things to do than to look for cheap parts and to work on my car myself.

By the way, the outside temperature last week was in the teens and it would have been too cold for me to work on a car in my unheated garage no matter how young I was.
