Mine needed 2nd and 3rd synchos along with the 3rd gear set. Labor and parts at the dealer was bout $4000. Thank God for extended warranty!

How many miles does it take to wear out the synchros? My 08 only has 4000 miles on it and I have extended warranty but was thinking about canceling it. I hate going to the dealer for anything so I figured I could just buy parts when they come up cheap on the FS boards and fix shit myself.
