I changed my diff fluid today. I was looking for Mobil 1 75w90 GL5 gear oil but my local autozone didn't carry it so I went with Royal Purple 75w90 GL5 gear oil. Is this okay? Is it a good fluid? It was over priced at 17 bucks.
I also changed my transmission fluid with Honda MTF. I'm kind of conflicted on the results. It seems like it makes the shifts lighter but it feel just as notchy as before on certain gears.

Some people use the RP and swear by it, it should be fine. Use the trans fluid for a few days before getting back to us..it'll take a few days for the shift feel to change.
