The results are in for the Spoon thermostat, Spoon fan switch and coolant mix (80% water/20% antifreeze + WaterWetter). It works very well.

I took a 300 mile drive to NE Arizona and back yesterday (>600 miles total). This was at altitudes up to 7,000ft, with speeds up to 110mph, temperatures ranging from 75 to 100 degrees, with no temperature problems and no 4th bar.

AND: while maintaining a constant speed on flat ground at 71mph, 76mph, and 83mph, I actually saw the car drop down to 2 bars! When I increased throttle, it popped back up to 3 bars in 2 or 3 seconds. Heck, I might have to put on the grill cover to keep my engine warm during the winter!

This is slightly off topic, but Im needing a new radiator for my 2005.
She is all natural, no mods, but I'd like to have a better raditor with dual core cooling.
She is my daily driver, hasn't seen the track yet.
What would you guys suggest?
Also, any suggestions on coolant, coolant flush, etc????
I live in a climate that varies from 30 F to 100 F.
Thanks,
-Daniel

Once again.....bringing a thread back from 2001....

To answer your question, if you're NA, there's absolutely NO NEED for an aftermarket rad or cooling system. There are plenty of people that religiously track their cars on factory parts and have never had an issue. IMO you're just throwing money down the drain for something you really won't see a huge improvement with. (given your setup and use)
