Cooling fan running with key off and out
I can't find anything in the forums, so here it is. Warm day today. Drove 25 miles, stopping at the car wash for the "deluxe" wash, which includes undercarriage wash (not sure if it's relevant).
Got home, pull into the garage, get out and the cooling fan is still running. Key in my hand, not the ignition. I think that I should see if the fan goes off in a while. Go back out to the garage 30 minutes later, the fan is still running, no key in the ignition. I start the car and turn it off. Still running. I start it again and let it idle for 5 minutes. Turn it off, fan still running, no key in ignition. I go under the hood and pull the 20amp cooling fan fuse. Fan shuts off. I put it back in, fan starts up again. Key NOT in ignition. I pull the fuse again. Fan shuts off. I then pull the cooling fan relay. Then put the fuse back in. No fan. Then, because I've heard they can get sticky, I whack the relay a few times on the shock tower and then put it back in. NO FAN. Relay and fuse back in place, no fan.
Thoughts????

From my short look at the wiring diagram just now the fans are wired directly to the battery thru the relays but the relays them selves are wired thru the ignition and I'm not seeing any way for the fans to run with the ignition Off unless the relays are bad. Since these are plug and play it's easy to check. While both fans run at the same time they're controlled by separate relays for some reason.
Am I misreading the wiring diagrams? I've owned cars where the fans run after the ignition shuts off but don't recall my S2000 doing this.
