The plan is to mount my coolant pump assembly onto my engine block. I have cleaned the mounting surface as best as I can, and will of course be installed with a fresh o-ring. Question is, is the o-ring supposed to be installed ”dry” without any lube/grease? I cant find it specified in the manual.

Fitted mine dry a few years ago and no problems, if you were suppose to lube it I'm sure it would be noted in the manual.
