Nice car; good job. Perfect color.
When you change the coolant (good idea) be sure to pay attention to Billman's DIY to ensure you get the air out of the system. Its not a simple drain and fill procedure.

On an 01, I'd be worried about spark plug torque.

I promise you you will cook that engine if you don't set the spark plugs to 24 ft-lbs. There was a recall on it, do it yourself.

Lowest known miles for me was 1184, you got him beat.

If you do the coolant, follow the procedure for bleeding air or that will cost you your engine as well. I'd hate to see you hurt it, search S2000 coolant bleed.

Thanks Billman, I had the coolant done, bled the system according to your instructions, the temp gauge is stable at 3 bars and heat is sharply warm.
I swapped the spark plugs some time ago and torqued them according to service manual, I'll check again if the number on the manual is 24 ft lbs.

I believe the manual is around 17 ft lbs, but 22-24 is recommended.

Search the spark plug topic and found a TSB: https://www.s2ki.com/stor/library/TSB/A02-042/index.htm

Looks like the problem is caused by faulty washer on the plugs, I bought 4 oem(ngk) half a year ago, does that mean 18 ft lbs(mentioned in the TSB) is enough?
