Coolant change for 13 year s2k
Hi guys, after owning the car for half a year I'm wondering if it's necessary to change the coolant in my 01 ap1. The mileage is only 1100 but I'm worrying if the coolant may slowly react with aluminum parts or some chemicals have already broken down. I heard that type 2 can last for a very long time but I don't known if the coolant in my car is actually type 2, it looks greenish instead of blue, I guess type 2 was probably not introduced back in 01. Thanks for your suggestions.
I don't know if this is the right place, here are some pictures of the car and my daily drivers:

Are you telling me that you have an S that has probably less than 24 hours of someone's a** in the driver seat...? Holy low mileage club batman. Is it even technically broken in?? Does it have the same oil in it??
Your coolant should be fine if it looks fine. Honda Type 2 coolant is was designed to go the life of the car without ever technically having to be changed. Every other fluid in the car should be changed before being driven, if they're original fluids.

I changed all fluid apart from coolant right after I got it. I think the coolant sits in my car right now is not type 2.

Just uploaded some pictures(sorry, can't help to show off ) I paid close to what the original owner(old gentleman) paid in 01. She's definitely my garage queen
