I've had it take a LONG time to get the fans to come on when idling. 3 bars is a large temp range.

let the car idle till you get 4 bars or fan.

LOL we're only $50 apart on those parts now aren't we? I may buy them yet I just have ALOT that I have been doing lately, for example when I bought the S there were a couple minor dings and chips from rocks in the front along with a small scratch on the front fender like 1/4" or less... well I am a perfectionist so I have all the body panels removed and am having them all repainted so that everything matches and is flawless... I am also having the painter put an extra 2 or 3 coats of clear on wet sanding in between so I get that dripping wet all the time look... so needless to say that is costing me a fortune! One upside is I shaved all my emblems and the front plate plug holes... so my front bumper will be smooth and free of the ugly plugs. I have a stealth License Plate mounting braket that goes inside the grill and can be mounted if need be although I never run a front plate on any of my cars. The trunk emblem holes have been welded shut and sanded smooth so my car will have no marking whatsoever... that along with the fact I am getting new tires and fabbing a custom exhaust all in the next 2 weeks or so will be tapping pretty heavy into my cashflow... but I will keep your parts in mind. At the price you are asking now I can save about $250 off the price of new so it is close to tempting me into buying... and I am sure your items are in top notch shape so would in essence be as good as new...

Anyways keep in touch and get that air out of your coolant system!

no, totally un-needed mod.

If your fans are really broken I would expect the car to eventally get to 4 bars. give it some part throttle for a while.

if you get 4 bars and no fans you have a problem. I bet you'll get your fans tho

I'll have to try it in the morning... it is 10:30 PM here and an S2000 with an open header is, a bit on the loud side... my neighbors wouldn't appreciate it.

Thanks

How are we still $50 apart? About a week ago you PM'd me with an offer of $650 plus shipping and Paypal. I responded stating that I wanted $700 plus shipping and Paypal. A day or two ago you bumped my 4 sale thread, and I responded by stating that I would sell them to you for $650 plus shipping/Paypal. Therefore, haven't we reached an agreement?
