Convertible top switch

So i took the center console out again on my lunch time; checked the pins, they looked good. I took out the switch and pulled back the rubber boot cover and found a spring just sitting there not connected to anything; im guessing it came off somehow which would explain why I wasn't feeling any resistance when I would press the switch i guess. Its a pretty small spring about a half an inch long. Is this fixable? not sure where the two connection points are for the spring

Got the replacement switch in the mail; changed it out, works like a charm
