Convertible Roof not working Properly
Somewhere on this site, I saw some Info on the problems with the S2K Convertible roof not working properly. My S2k which is only 2 months old is having problems with the roof. When I push the button to make it retract, it only seems to work about 40% of the time, and it has been getting worse. I am going to take in into the dealer, since it is under warrantee, but I would like to give the a direction to resolve the problem the FIRST time, not the Fifth time. Help Please

Currious.........you are A. Stopped (duh!) and B. Your E-Brake is engaged?
Since your new I didn't know if that might be what you are overlooking!

Yes, I am stopped and Yes, the E-Break is on. It fails either up or down, I will unhook the latches, and then flip the switch, and nothing happens. I try it with the motor running, I try it with the motor off, but with the key on. Other times, the top will be down, and I will flip the switch and it will not go up. When it does work, I do catch it with my hand so it doesn't jerk hard as it make it way past the half way point. I know that I have seen a link about others having the same problem. Anyway, thanks for all the input.
