Convertible Part; weather tape btwn weather strips?
Hello, I was wondering if you could offer advice or point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to figure out what kind of weather tape the S2k uses between the weather strips in the convertible top. I leak a bit of water in from there. I've been through the parts manual and it's unlisted D: Everywhere else I've looked has been a dead end. Any ideas? I'd prefer to keep as close to OEM as possible, but if you've jury rigged something together that could help, too. I haven't tried silicone lube yet for example.
Please let me know what you think, any and all advice is great!
I posted this in the mechanical forum and not the body forum bc it's a mechanical part, I'm a mechanical engineer, and I like mechanics. I think it belongs here, and I'm biased. If I'm wrong, let me know that, too
