Should I try Shin-Etsu greese
If you have some, give it a try. I don't think it should rattle. It could be an indication that something has fallen off or loose. There are little guides that come off easily if the little prongs are bent or broken. Then the thing has to be expoxied back in place. I lost one of mine when I lowered my window during winter ice freeze up. Had to glue it back in place. The window tends to be a bit loose if this guide comes out.

I have an 03 with 12,500, I have the same pronlem on both sides as well. Called Honda and since i'm still under warranty i'll have them look at it.

Service advisor asked if I took it through car washes and I told him I wash it a home, never through car washes. He told me he was going to run a hose over it to see if it leaked.

It only rattled after the first time they replaced my regulator. I told them about the rattle when my top had finally arrived a week later and they went in and tightend/adjusted things and it no longer rattles. Im wondering if the guy just did a sloppy job. This would surprise me because this dealership is known for its quality work and experience with S2k's.

Ill try the shintsu greese....I need to buy some and do all the seals anyway. If that dosen't work Ill take it back to the dealership.

Thanks for the Tips Xviper
