Condenser fan switch
For some reason my condenser fan hangs up an keeps running after I shut the engine off. I know that it will run a little after the engine is off but the last two times it continues to run and the only way it will stop is if I disconnect the switch.
Antbody else have this problem? I"ll most likely just replace the switch there not much, but I was woundering if I'm the only one. and if I'm not how did you fix the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help............

The 2 pin connector to the motor is for the motor itself, not a switch. The cooling fan motors have power supplied by seperate relays. Does the condensor fan run anytime the key is on, or off?
Is it one or both fans running? Do the cooling fans otherwise cycle normally when the engine is running?
I'd be looking for a short across the relay, a bad relay or a short to ground on the fan control wire to the PCM.
Check the relay 1st, it's in the under hood fuse box.

Yes, the EMS can be a huge factor, as it's controlling the relay's. The stock PCM supplies the 2 fan relay grounds, which causes the fans to run. If the relay isn't shorted internally, I'd be looking at your EMS configuration.
The quick test on the realy is to swap with the main cooling fan motor relay to see if the main fan motor runs all the time.

I just checked and it's not the condenser fan that's running it's the main fan.
I did pull the realy and it stopped running. Could it still be a bad realy? or should I have the EMS checked, what do you think.
The strange part is it does not do this all the time, it seems to be hit and miss. I had Shawn at Church do the EMS tuning maybe I should have him take a look.
