Most auto parts stores should sell the socket attachment as well. It is a standard size.

I always use the oem pcx filter. I put it on and take it off by hand.
I still have my original engine after just 118,000 + miles.
Go figure.

I don't have a drain plug either.
Done figuring?

No drainplug at all? Cool. You've never changed the oil, just add when you need some.... Or you're either like one of those Microlon infomercials that drain all the oil out after running the car with some mouse milk in it, or you're going total loss.

"Total loss lubrication" refers to an archaic engine lubrication system wherein oil was added to a tank, passed through the engine, and was either burned or went out on the ground. Used in early racing engines as well as some aircraft, it was obviously long before the days of environmental awareness.

Just having fun.

The point is, make sure the filter is on there tight fellas ! Don't want your car turning into a real total loss due to an oil fire.
