Default Comptech Supercharger Instalation Help!

OK, it went fine until I broke the oil return fitting off in the oil pan. It sits flush with it so I can grab it with anything. Anyone have any ideas or do I just need a new pan. If so what is involved in the pan replacement, do I have to take anything else off or does it just came down?

I take it you broke the oil drain bolt off as Comptech uses this for its oil return. If you have to take the oil pan off, look at the Vortech manual. Vortech requires that we take the oil pan off. Here is the online manual:

Is it the drain plug or the fitting that comes with the SC? If it's the fitting, it should be hollow. I've run into this type of problem before, what I've done is to use a small but stout knife with a blade that fits snugly into the hole and lightly tapped it with a hammer so that the knife bites into the inner wall of the fitting, then twisting the knife to back the fitting out of the hole. I haven't seen one but I'm assuming that the fitting is aluminum so you should be able to get enough of a bite, although it may take you several tries. A screw extractor (available at most hardware stores for a couple of dollars) usually works better than a knife, but I never seem to have the correct size on hand when I break something.

^ I'm glad it worked for you. Next time, don't crank the fitting down so tight. Those aluminum fittings don't give much warning before they snap off.
