sc is better in corners, linear
it's still difficult to drive (compared to a stock car).

the transition from pre-vtec to vtec upsets the balance of the car - especially mid-corner - trust me, i know.

How can anyone say the sc just adds weight and slows the car down, thats crazy. My friend has a sc'd s2000 with nothing else done not even exhaust and I can get close to him!
It was a joke.

I know the S can do sub-13's 'charged. I have only dragged two times in my life. Once last year(NA) on an 1/8 mile track and two weekends ago(SC). My launch time was better a year ago and still lower than what I've seen posted.

I had street tires at highway-level tire pressures with -1.75 front camber and -2.0 in the rear. My Koni yellows are set to full stiff in the rear. I, not knowing how to properly launch the car, bounced the rearend with wheel hop. My best 60' time was only 2.29 I think. I suck!!! I still turned a 13.3x at over 105 mph.

I had a magazine about 3 months a ago with some guy in his 40s had a s2k SC by Vortech with a stero system and 5zigen exhaust that ran a 12.53 it was a light blue with white flames I dunno if anyone has the mag cause i forget witch mag covered the car
I did the brakes on that car and let me tell you. There is no way that car is going anywhere near the twelves. I d be surprised if it even hit 13s. The car has a ton of audio gear as well as heavy 18s.

Keep in mind that this car is not designed for launching from a standstill. Thats why the stock clutch slips. To protect the drivetrain and diff. Put a stronger clutch in there and I promise you ll get much better times. I also promise that youll blow your diff too

All that aside, IMO, best way to improve 1/4 mile times in an S thats supercharged is to go to a different rear end gear and lighten the weight of the car.
