The S/C is next! So i will figuire it out. I have access to a machine shop. I've done it before. Drag Specialties paid me for a light bar after they saw it. I made for my HD. They still make it.

 

I bought my S about 3 years ago. Came with the comptech Ti strut bar. I don't think I've seen any pics of a bar with as much rub as mine. It has rub the size of a quarter. Has anyone experienced the same amount of rub?

I want to try what someone suggested earlier and remount the bar closer to the windshield. Has anyone tried that? How much should I torque the bolts back?

I mean it doesn't matter anymore as it already been rubbed a lot and the bar came with the S. However, I think it makes my hood really hard to close. I know you drop the hood from high up but I sort of have to drop and give it a ummph down too to close. I hope I it hasn't been damaging my hood.
