Default comptech sc question

when u level the sc pulley and the crankshaft sc pulley.
is the sc pulley slightly more towards the front of the car?
or should they be equal plane?

They should be in line of course but I've never really checked. I expect I would have noticed if they were out of alignment.

As you are using a smaller pulley are you sure it is the same offset as the original?

Driving pulleys and driven pulleys need to be in the exact same plane or the belt will ride to one side and try to run itself off one pulley or the other or both.

Did you buy your kit new or used? Mine was new and the mounting hardware was "zip-tied" together so there was no question on how it was mounted! All the pulleys run true there is no offset or there is a problem! Make a "Plumb-bob" out of a piece of string and a washer and let the string hang below the crank S/C pulley and line it up with the blower pulley to see if it lines up!
