Default Comptech S/C with aftercooler kit.

Hi there,

New to this forum and I'd really appreciate some feedback from anyone with experience / knowledge of this upgrade.

I'd really like to hear if there are any pitfalls in the reliability of the S2K when equipped with the above kit.

I got this setup when my engine hits 60K miles, and it is still running good. oh!! my car has roughly 80K miles now.

The kit is pretty reliable with or without the AC. It only adds boost at whole open throttle and mid to high revs so unless you thrash the car it is working a very low percentage of the time.

This kit sucks. Dont get it. Ive been through 3 blocks and 4 head gaskets. Not to mention a new hood from when my valve shot through it.

Got great distance though.

I doubt you could measure a difference. They'd be pretty close and variations in car and driver would be far more apparent than SCs.
