comptech replacement air filter
I just installed the comptech replacement air filter and it is larger than the stock filter. When installing it, I had to push down a little on the airbox lid to latch it back on. Is this ok to do? Anyone else have this problem?

I have the blue comptech filter on my car. It fits perfectly just like the green oem paper filter does.
Check to see if the metal pin is attached to the left of the filter and is tightly connected to the bottom of the air box. Check to see if the plastic adapter that came with the filter is on snug with no gaps all the way around. Also, the plastic tubing has a goove around it. Make sure that this lines up with the stock air box before you place the lid on. I think this is causing the problem. Everything should fit perfectly.
