Comptech Exhaust Owners
#41
Hey nv,
Hope no one takes offense to this comment...
Mugen...uh...sorry...it was worthless for sound. If you want the stock sound, why not just keep the stock exhaust. The Mugen adds almost nothing, it just takes away weight...which is a good thing for certain, but I'll take a slightly heavier exhaust that sounds better any day (the weight is all the same to me since I'm 140lbs). It also has a very unfinished look as well, can't really explain it, but it's there.
There is no comparrison between the exhausts in sound, the Comptech is the sweetest sounding by far. At s2kdays you could hear the "oohs and ahhhs" when it was reved. That exhaust is a done deal, I just wish I could get it for under $1189.

Let me tell you, we've been experiencing 90 degree temps with high humidity here in Orlando,Fl lately and my car runs like shit when it's hot. Especially in stop and go traffic, the hotter the car gets the more it wants to die when you give it gas. I'm constantly having to get the revs up to let out the clutch. As far as the exhaust, yes it does sound a bit boomier but I love it! I frickin' love this exhaust!
